🦇 Are The Beyerdynamic Dt 990 Pro Good For Gaming
ihave the dt 880 premium and he 560. the dt 880s are absolutely phenomenal in terms of comfort (at least the premiums are) and have a good sound stage. they are analytical, bright, but the bass doeant go low so it lacks that oomph for shooting guns and explosions. id recommend them if you play competitive shooters and want hear where peeps
Id give my vote to the Beyer's because they're open back, whereas the Astros are closed back. The difference soundstage (how wide the audio feels) is actually pretty massive. I believe there's a version of the Beyer's that are only 80ohms so you wouldn't necessarily need an amp for that. The 250ohm versions would definitely benefit from an amp
Butit would improve your volume issues. I have 80 Ohms and an audio interface. Even at low volumes, around 40% on the interface and 15/100 in windows, its extremely loud. Seems weird that you would have low volume with a 30 ohms set.
BeyerdynamicDT 900 Pro X impressions. Impressions. So they arrived a few hours ago. I did a little testing and comparing with other DTs (770 Pro 80Ω, 880 Edition 32Ω, DT 880 Black Edition 250Ω, super old plastic 990) directly and Sundara, DT 1990 from memory. the DT 880s on the right use TYGR 300 R foam dampening pads which look and feel
Themajority of gaming headsets sit in the $100-200 (£80-150) range with a few high-end stragglers that might set you back over $300/£250. Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X and DT 700 Pro X (Image
raistlin65 • 1 yr. ago. So "everyone" says that the Beyerdynamic DT 900 PRO X. For the price, they are generally found to be the best for positional audio in gaming. But keep keep in mind everyone has different sized and shaped ears, would slightly affects perception of soundstage and imaging. So no headphone is going to be THE best for
1 iFi Hip amplifier – Best iFi DAC/AMP for DT990 PRO. Read Verified Customer Reviews. iFi’s Hip-DAC Portable Amplifier is a small yet powerful headphone amp that pairs perfectly with DT 990s. First off, we love this little amplifier’s aesthetic. It features a petrol blue exterior with stunning copper details.
SinceI loved the sound of Beyerdynamic, I went with a pair of the DT 990's. Being my first open-back style headphones ever, I was blown away by the added awareness and openness of the sound for gaming. I like treble, but the 990's were a bit too harsh for me.
DeadSoul7 •. They are v-shaped but that's better for competitive fps, footsteps and gunfire aren't mids, they're highs, so having emphasized highs is advantageous for pinpointing where they're coming from especially if the soundstage is good like on the dt990s.
Bestamp/dac for dt 990 pro 250ohm for gaming. Amplifier - Desktop. so i currently own dt990 250ohm and im looking for amp/dac for 100Euro or less. im using them currently for gaming. im currently looking at fiio k3 and E10k but dont know a lot about audio so thats why im asking it here. thx for your time.
Ifyou are comfortable modding your 990s I would recommend the VModa boom pro, if not, all modmics are great, the wireless one is very convenient. OASLR. • 3 yr. ago. I use the Modmic USB on my DT1990s. Love them. They have a switch specifically for not picking up background noise. Jonneyrocks9.
Wouldyou think a "fiio k5 pro" be a good amp/DAC for the headphones? I really dont reccomend this guy for beyers. beyers are rather bright sounding headphones while the k5 pro is a old cheaper sounding amplifier that doesnt really work well with brighter headphones as the combination will make them sound rather harsh and more sibilant
Ifyou are getting DT990 32 or 80 ohm, then get the fulla 2, if you are getting the 250 or 600 then get the monoprice desktop amp. I wouldn't connect your headphones through your speakers, you are most likely going to get a lot more interference. Ofc I always recommend trying with onboard audio first. Before you buy amp and dac.

GC7and DT990 600 ohms, volume at 50% is too loud most of time. GC7 should be able to get peak 113dB SPL to your headphones (I measured 2.4V on the headphone output before it started clipping). Decently mastered music or games would have average level of 15dB or so below the peak, which would be 98 dB SPL RMS.
